Post by f***@yahoo.comHey all, I'm trying to find a specific python image. I think it's from
The Meaning of Life, I think it might be in that middle of the film
segment (haven't seen it since the 90's, probably), and I'm pretty
sure it's Terry Jones wearing a tux and walking around with freaky
long arms talking about fish. I've spent the afternoon doing all kinds
of web searches and no dice. Is it from that movie? Does anyone have a
screencap on their flikr or something?
Your memory is correct; it is from "Meaning of Life".
Terry Jones in that garb w/Chapman dressed in some outrageous drag along with a
bipedal elephant.
Here's a pic link: http://www.intriguing.com/mp/_pictures/life/ftf-find.jpg
...and a .wav link: http://www.intriguing.com/mp/_sounds/ml/fishgone.wav
...and the script: http://www.intriguing.com/mp/_scripts/meanlife.asp (scroll a
little over half-way down.)

THE
MIDDLE
OF THE FILM
FIND THE FISH
Man: I wonder where that fish has gone.
Woman: You did love it so.
You looked after it like a son.
Man: [strangely] And it went wherever I did go.
Woman: Is it in the cupboard?
Audience: Yes! No!
Woman: Wouldn't you like to know.
It was a lovely little fish.
Man: [strangely] And it went wherever I did go.
Man in audience: It's behind the sofa!
[An elephant joins the man and woman.]
Woman: Where can the fish be?
Man in audience: Have you thought of the drawers in the bureau?
Woman: It is a most elusive fish.
Man: [strangely] And it went wherever I did go!
Woman: Oh fishy, fishy, fishy, fish.
Man: Fish, fish, fish, fishy oh!
Woman: Oh fishy, fishy, fishy fish.
Man: [strangely] That went wherever I did go.

Put 'em all together, and you get this: http://pythonline.com/node/5234481
Surprised that you wouldn't have at least found the Pythonline link in your
high-and-low search but, ah, the thrill of the hunt......
